Note that this drive is unusually broad for a steel plant — BA, B.Com, BBA, nursing and paramedical candidates are all eligible, not only engineering and ITI holders.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only candidates who completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are eligible.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in the last five years — 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Candidates with prior apprenticeship training or one year or more of work experience are not eligible under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Age is reckoned as on 31 August 2026, as per the notification.
