Eligibility Criteria
Hospitality Monitor
Candidates must possess one of the prescribed qualifications, such as:
- B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration
- BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts
- B.Sc. Hotel Management & Catering Science
- MBA in Tourism & Hotel Management
Experience depends on age:
- Up to 28 years: No experience required
- Above 28 to 30 years: 1 year experience
- Above 30 to 35 years: 2 years experience
Tourism Monitor
Candidates must have:
- 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism; or
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream + 1-year Diploma in Travel & Tourism, with 1 year relevant experience; or
- Bachelor’s Degree + 2-year PG Degree/Diploma in Travel & Tourism, with 2 years relevant experience.
Relevant experience should be in Tour Operation/Travel Agency firms.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is generally 35 years for UR candidates, with applicable relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per government rules.
Salary & Allowances
- Hospitality Monitor: ₹30,000 per month CTC.
- Tourism Monitor: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month CTC.
- Daily allowance: ₹350 per day for eligible on-duty train assignments.
- Lodging allowance: ₹240 for eligible outstation night stays.
- National Holiday Allowance: ₹384 per National Holiday if worked.
- Medical insurance/reimbursement is available as prescribed.

Selection will be through a Walk-in Interview.
