Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Educational qualification depends on the Pay Level:
- Pay Level-5: Graduation or equivalent.
- Pay Level-2: 12th Pass or equivalent.
- Pay Level-1: 10th Pass / ITI / NAC or equivalent.
Sports Qualification – Very Important
Sports achievement is mandatory for this recruitment.
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed sports achievement norms for the respective Pay Level and discipline. Eligible achievements may include participation or specified positions in Olympic Games, international championships, National Championships, National Games, Federation Cup and other recognized sporting events, depending on the Pay Level.
Only qualifying sports achievements from 01 April 2024 onwards are considered, subject to the conditions in the official notification.
Age Limit
Candidates must be 18 to 25 years as on 01 January 2027.
No relaxation in the minimum or maximum age limit is permissible.

Selection Process
The selection process includes:

The Sports Trial carries 40 marks, Sports Achievement carries 50 marks, and Educational Qualification carries 10 marks, making a total of 100 marks.
Minimum qualifying marks are:
- Pay Level-5: 70 marks
- Pay Level-2: 65 marks
- Pay Level-1: 60 marks
Candidates must also meet the required medical fitness standards.
Experience – Important
Regular work experience is not the main eligibility condition for this recruitment. However, prescribed sports achievement/participation is mandatory. Candidates without the required sports qualification/achievement should not apply.
