Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have one of the following:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Commerce, Administration or other prescribed disciplines.
The qualifying degree/diploma must have been completed in June 2021 or thereafter.
Age Limit
As on 14 September 2026:
- UR: 18–27 years
- OBC: Up to 30 years
- SC/ST: Up to 32 years
Experience
No previous work experience is required. However, candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship at STPI or any other organisation are not eligible.
STPI Apprentice Trainee Stipend
- B.E./B.Tech: ₹15,000 per month
- Bachelor’s Degree: ₹12,300 per month
- The Screening-cum-Selection Committee may offer a stipend of up to ₹20,000 per month based on interview performance.
The applicable stipend is processed through the NATS/DBT system after successful registration.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on shortlisting and interview performance according to available vacancies and disciplines.
