Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree with minimum 60% marks and a valid GATE score from 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 in the prescribed discipline.
- Civil Engineering → GATE CE
- Mechanical Engineering → GATE ME
- Electronics & Communication-related disciplines → GATE EC
The general age limit is 18 to 30 years as on 01 August 2026. Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per KRCL rules.
Experience / GATE Requirement
A valid GATE score is very important for this recruitment. KRCL will shortlist candidates based on GATE performance, followed by Presentation and Personal Interview. There is no separate written examination conducted by KRCL.
Selection Process
The final selection will be based on:

- Presentation – 25%
- Personal Interview – 25%
