Educational Qualification
Qualification varies by discipline. Candidates may require:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Environment or relevant engineering discipline.
- PG Degree in Geology/Applied Geology.
- MBBS for Medical & Health Services.
- MBA/PG Diploma in HR/Personnel Management.
- CA/Cost Accountant qualification for Finance.
- Relevant Mining/Civil qualification and Surveyor Certificate for Survey.
- Relevant professional qualifications for Industrial Safety and Mineral Processing.

EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.
Post-qualification relevant experience requirements range from 3 years to 18 years, depending on the FTE grade.
Experience must be in the relevant field and must meet HCL’s prescribed domain requirements. Candidates must provide supporting employment and salary documents. Training, internship, apprenticeship, fellowship, consultancy, teaching and academic project experience will not be counted.
Age Limit
The maximum age varies by grade:
- FTE-I: 35 years
- FTE-II: 40 years
- FTE-III: 42 years
- FTE-IV: 47 years
- FTE-VI: 52 years
Age relaxation is applicable to eligible SC, OBC-NCL, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per the notification.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive consolidated pay according to their FTE grade:
₹75,400 to ₹1,69,600 per month, along with applicable benefits such as employer PF contribution, HRA, gratuity, medical benefits and leave encashment as per HCL rules.
The engagement is initially for 3 years, extendable by a further 3 years depending on organisational requirements.
Selection Process
Selection is primarily based on Personal Interview (100% weightage).
HCL may conduct a written screening test if required for shortlisting. Candidates must also undergo document verification and medical fitness assessment.
