Salary & Benefits
ASO is a Group B (Non-Gazetted) post at Pay Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400), with DA, HRA, transport allowance, medical reimbursement, LTC, and NPS pension.
Selection Process
- No written exam. Shortlisting is based on UPSC CSE-2024 total marks (Mains + Personality Test), tentatively in a 1:5 ratio per category.
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Qualifying only (100 marks, 1 hour) at Delhi, covering Word, Spreadsheets, and PowerPoint. Qualifying marks: 40% UR, 37% OBC/EWS, 35% SC/ST, 30% PwBD.
- Final merit is based purely on UPSC CSE-2024 scores.
