Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification varies according to the post:
- Inspector of Factories: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering.
- English Reporter: Bachelor’s Degree + English shorthand 150 WPM and required typewriting qualification.
- Telugu Reporter: Bachelor’s Degree + required Telugu shorthand/typewriting qualifications.
- Assistant Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics or specified related subjects.
- Analyst Grade-II: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Environmental Sciences.
- Assistant Director – Tribal Welfare: Master’s Degree in Social Anthropology, Sociology or Social Work with required publications.
- Assistant Director – Economics & Statistical Service: Postgraduate Degree in specified Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science and related subjects.
Experience Is Important
For the Inspector of Factories post, candidates must have at least 2 years of industrial work experience in medium/large manufacturing process industries, preferably in Industrial Safety, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Management.
The required experience certificate must be issued by the concerned industry’s Chief Executive.

Selection Process
APPSC will conduct a single-level online Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) for these posts. No separate Screening Test will be conducted.
