Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates get Level 6 pay (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) under the 7th Pay Commission, with DA, HRA, medical allowance, travel allowance, NPS pension, and group insurance, plus departmental promotion opportunities.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
- Stage 1 – Preliminary Exam: 100 MCQs, 200 marks (2 marks each), 2 hours, GK & current affairs; 0.2 negative marking; minimum 30% to qualify; 20× vacancies shortlisted for Mains.
- Stage 2 – Mains: Paper I General Hindi (qualifying, 30% required); Paper II General Studies (merit-deciding, 200 marks). Final merit is based only on Paper II.
- Followed by Physical Efficiency Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
