Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Mechanical/Metallurgical:
B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
Electrical:
B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
Experience – Important
EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
For Mechanical/Metallurgical posts, experience should relate to inspection of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns/towers, reactors, static equipment, pumps, compressors and similar refinery/petrochemical equipment.
For Electrical posts, relevant inspection experience in equipment such as switchboards, motors, transformers, generators, VFDs, UPS, cables and electrical control systems is required.
Age Limit
The maximum age is 32 years. Age relaxation is applicable to eligible SC/ST, OBC and PwD candidates as per the prescribed rules.
Salary
The Associate Engineer Grade-I salary varies according to the city category:
- X Category: ₹64,000/month
- Y Category: ₹60,800/month
- Z Category: ₹57,600/month
