Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess the required MBBS and relevant postgraduate/super-specialty qualification from a recognised institution.
Teaching Experience
- Professor: Generally 14 years for broad-specialty posts
- Additional Professor: Generally 10 years
- Associate Professor: Generally 6 years
- Assistant Professor: Generally 3 years
For super-specialty posts, the required experience varies according to the duration/type of DM/M.Ch qualification. Candidates should check the department-wise eligibility in the notification.
EXPERIENCE IS IMPORTANT: Experience must meet the prescribed NMC/AIIMS requirements and is counted after obtaining the required qualification.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive salary according to the 7th CPC pay structure:
- Professor: Level-14A – ₹1,68,900 to ₹2,20,400
- Additional Professor: Level-13A2+ – ₹1,48,200 to ₹2,11,400
- Associate Professor: Level-13A1+ – ₹1,38,300 to ₹2,09,200
- Assistant Professor: Level-12 – ₹1,01,500 to ₹1,67,400
