IREL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: IREL (India) Limited, a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Atomic Energy, has invited applications for 39 Graduate, Technician and Trade Apprentice posts at its Manavalakurichi (MK) unit, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline.
  • Technician Apprentice: Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Trade Apprentice: ITI in the relevant trade.

Candidates must have obtained the prescribed qualification through the recognized mode. Distance, part-time and correspondence qualifications are not considered.

Age Limit

The candidate should generally be 18 to 25 years as on the last date of application.

  • SC/ST: Relaxation up to 5 years
  • OBC-NCL: Relaxation up to 3 years
  • PwBD: Relaxation up to 10 years

Experience – Important

No prior work experience is required for these apprentice posts. However, candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible.

Candidates can apply for only one trade.

Selection Process

IREL will not conduct a written examination for this recruitment. Selection will be based on:
