DRDO HEMRL Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026: High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), Pune, under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has released a notification for 50 Graduate Apprentice vacancies for the year 2026-27.
Eligible candidates with B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc, B.A., B.Com, BLIS or BBA qualifications can apply for one-year apprenticeship training. Candidates must first register on NATS 2.0 and then submit the application through the prescribed offline mode.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should fulfill the following conditions:
- Only Indian Nationals can apply.
- Minimum age should be 18 years.
- Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification for the relevant discipline.
- The qualifying examination should have been passed during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Candidates whose qualifying examination result is not declared by the application closing date are not eligible.
- Candidates with a qualification higher than the prescribed qualification are not eligible.
- Only candidates who completed the qualifying qualification as regular students are eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training are not eligible.
- Candidates currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible.
- Candidates having one year or more job experience after obtaining the qualifying qualification are not eligible.

Experience is an important eligibility condition for this apprenticeship. Candidates who have one year or more of job experience after obtaining the required qualification are not eligible for this HEMRL Apprentice Training.
DRDO HEMRL Apprentice Stipend
Selected Graduate Apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month as mentioned in the recruitment details.
The apprenticeship training period will be one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and applicable Apprentice Rules.
Selection Process
HEMRL may shortlist candidates through academic merit, written test, interview, walk-in interview or a combination of methods, depending on the vacancies and number of applications received.
