Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Level 5/4: Graduation in any discipline.
- Level 3/2: 12th pass or equivalent / Matriculation + ITI or Apprenticeship.
- Level 1: 10th pass / ITI / equivalent / NAC.
Age Limit
Candidates must be 18 to 25 years as on 01 January 2027. The prescribed date-of-birth range is 01 January 2002 to 01 January 2009, both days inclusive.
Sports Achievement is Mandatory
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed sports achievement norms for the relevant pay level. Achievements must generally fall within the specified period beginning 01 April 2024 and up to the notification date.
Sports disciplines include Athletics, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Gymnastics, Boxing, Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling, Swimming, Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Kho-Kho, Handball and more.
RRC WR Sports Quota Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed under the applicable 7th CPC Pay Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, depending on the post. Salary will include applicable allowances as per Railway rules.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Sports Achievement – 50 Marks
- Sports Trial – 40 Marks
- Educational Qualification – 10 Marks
Candidates must obtain the prescribed minimum marks in the Sports Trial to be declared FIT.
