NIT Agartala Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The qualification varies according to the post.
- Technical Assistant: First Class B.E./B.Tech/MCA, relevant Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Science, as prescribed.
- Junior Engineer: First Class B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering.
- Library & Information Assistant: First Class Bachelor’s Degree along with Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science.
- SAS Assistant: First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with the prescribed participation record.
- Pharmacist: 10+2 Science with Diploma in Pharmacy and required experience, or B.Pharma with pharmacist registration.
- Senior Technician: 10+2/ITI/Diploma in the relevant field as prescribed.
- Technician: 10+2/ITI/Diploma in the relevant field.
- Lab Attendant: 10+2 in Science.
Experience – Important
Experience is important for the Pharmacist post. Candidates applying for Pharmacist must satisfy the prescribed pharmacy qualification, registration and experience requirements. Other posts should also be checked carefully for any post-specific conditions.
Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years. The maximum age varies by post:
- Technical Assistant/Junior Engineer/Library & Information Assistant/SAS Assistant – 30 years
- Pharmacist/Technician/Lab Attendant – 27 years
