The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NEET (UG) 2026 result on 16 July 2026, for the examination held on 21 June 2026. Close to 20 lakh candidates appeared and 11.21 lakh have qualified for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH and allied programmes. Candidates can now download their scorecard from the official website neet.nta.nic.in using their Application Number and Date of Birth. How to Check NEET UG 2026 Result / Scorecard
Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
Click on the link “Score Card for NEET (UG) – 2026”.
Log in using your Application Number, Date of Birth and the Security Pin shown on screen.
Your scorecard will display subject-wise marks, total score, percentile, All India Rank (AIR) and qualifying status.
Download the scorecard and take a printout for counselling and admission.
The highest score of 715 out of 720 was obtained jointly by Aryan Gupta (Punjab) and Panshul Bansal (Haryana). A total of 138 candidates scored above 690 marks, with qualified candidates emerging from every one of the 36 States and Union Territories. State toppers include Jigmet Yangchan Lamo (Ladakh, 530), Dhruv Tripathi (Andaman & Nicobar Islands, 606) and Fahmida Anees (Lakshadweep, 573). What After the Result? – Counselling
NTA declares the result and issues the All India Rank (AIR) only. Counselling and seat allotment are handled by the respective authorities. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for the 15% All India Quota MBBS/BDS seats at mcc.nic.in, while State counselling authorities handle state-quota seats. AYUSH counselling (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) is conducted by AACCC. Candidates should rely only on official websites and beware of fraudulent calls or agents promising admission.
