Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply online from 06 July 2026 to 26 July 2026 at agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The online examination is scheduled for 22 & 23 September 2026. Application Fee

Agniveer Vayu Salary (Agnipath Package)

Eligibility Criteria
Science Subjects: Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English; OR a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with 50% marks. Other than Science Subjects: Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent in any stream from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Age Limit: Candidates born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive) are eligible. Only Indian citizens (and others as per Government notification) may apply.
Selection Process
Selection is conducted in phases: Phase-I – Online Test (Computer Based Test) in the relevant subjects; Phase-II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-I and Adaptability Test-II for shortlisted candidates; followed by a Medical Examination as per IAF standards. A merit list is drawn based on performance.
