Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have either:
- A postgraduate degree, or
- A Bachelor’s degree with Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Business Statistics, Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or Advanced Statistics as a principal subject.
The degree must be from a recognised university/institution as prescribed in the official notification.
Computer Knowledge
Candidates must have the required basic computer knowledge under the Gujarat Civil Services Rules. Where applicable, the required certificate must be produced before appointment.
Language
Candidates should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both.

- Part B: Statistics, Official Statistics, Mathematics and Economics – 120 marks
- Total: 210 marks

- Negative Marking: 1/4 mark for each wrong answer
