- B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institute/university with Nurse & Midwife registration; OR
- GNM Diploma from a recognized institute with Nurse & Midwife registration and 2 years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital.

Candidates must be 21 to 40 years as on 01 July 2026. Applicable relaxation is available for eligible reserved categories as per government rules.

Experience is important for GNM candidates. GNM applicants must have 2 years of relevant experience after qualification in a minimum 50-bedded hospital. No experience is required for candidates applying through B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing qualification.

The CBT contains 100 objective questions for 100 marks, with negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
