The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the notification for the School Librarian Eligibility Test 2026 (Vidyalaya Pustakalayadhyaksh Patrata Pariksha) under Advertisement No. PR 221/2026.

Eligible Bihar residents with the prescribed Library Science qualification can apply online from 01 October 2026 to 21 October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must be residents of Bihar and should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognised university with at least 45% marks, as prescribed in the applicable rules.

A relaxation in minimum marks is available to eligible reserved/special categories as specified in the notification.
