The Advanced Centre for Energetic Materials (ACEM), Nashik — a premier laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence — has released Advertisement dated 01 July 2026 for engagement of 41 Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices for the 2026-27 training session. Eligible candidates must register on the NATS 2.0 portal and submit their application by email on or before 26 July 2026. There is no application fee. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: A relevant Graduate degree (BE/B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com or BLIS) for Graduate Apprentice posts, or a relevant Engineering Diploma for Technician Apprentice posts. Passing Year: Only candidates who passed in 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible. Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training, or who have one year or more of work experience after qualification, are not eligible as per the Apprentices Act.

Selection Process

Selection is based on merit in the qualifying examination (percentage of marks in the essential qualification), followed by document verification. There is no written test for apprentice engagement.

  1. Register on the NATS 2.0 portal (nats.education.gov.in) for Graduate / Technician apprenticeship.
  2. Download and fill the ACEM application form as per the official advertisement.
  3. Combine the filled application form and all required documents/certificates into a single PDF.
  4. Email the single PDF to apprentice.acem@gov.in on or before 26 July 2026.
  5. Keep a copy of the submitted application and email for future reference.
