Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must satisfy one of the following:
Option 1 – Master’s Degree:
Master’s Degree in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Business Studies or Public Administration plus 1 year relevant experience in handling stores and maintaining store accounts.
Option 2 – Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma:
Bachelor’s Degree in the prescribed subjects or Diploma in Material Management, Warehousing Management, Purchasing, Logistics or Public Procurement plus 2 years relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE IMPORTANT
The required experience must be related to handling stores and maintaining store accounts and should have been obtained from eligible organisations such as Government departments, PSUs, statutory/autonomous organisations, universities, banks or qualifying private-sector organisations.
Internship, training, articleship, dissertation and similar academic experience will not be counted.
Age Limit
The candidate should generally be 18 to 30 years as on 3 November 2026. Applicable relaxation is available for eligible categories as per Central Government rules.
Salary
The Foreman of Stores post carries Pay Level 6 under the applicable Central Government pay structure.
