Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess either:
- B.Sc Nursing from a recognised institution/university; or
- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a recognised institution.
Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed computer knowledge, Gujarati/Hindi language and nursing council registration requirements.
Age Limit
The basic age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 12 October 2026. Applicable age relaxation is available for women, reserved categories, PwD candidates and ex-servicemen as per the recruitment rules.
Experience
EXPERIENCE IMPORTANT: No separate work experience is required for the Staff Nurse post. However, candidates must fulfil all prescribed educational, registration and other eligibility conditions.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive ₹40,800 fixed monthly pay for the first five years. After satisfactory service and subject to the applicable conditions, the regular pay scale is ₹29,200–₹92,300 (Level-5).
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a competitive written examination (MCQ).
The examination consists of:
- Nursing Paper – 100 Marks
- Gujarati Language Paper – 100 Marks
- Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer
- Document Verification
- Final Merit List
