Eligibility Criteria
Associate Professor
Candidates generally require:
- Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of teaching/research experience in the prescribed position/equivalent role.
- Required research publications and research score as prescribed.
- Veterinary posts have additional B.V.Sc./A.H. and Veterinary Council registration requirements.
- Certain Technology posts require relevant engineering qualifications and 8 years of teaching, research or industry experience, including prescribed post-Ph.D. experience.
Assistant Professor
Candidates generally require:
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
- NET conducted by UGC/ICAR/CSIR or SLET/SET, as applicable.
- Eligible Ph.D. holders may receive NET/SLET/SET exemption according to applicable rules.
- Veterinary posts require prescribed veterinary qualifications and registration.
- Technology posts require relevant BE/BTech/BS and ME/MTech/MS or Integrated MTech qualifications.
