Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
For SI in Delhi Police and SI (GD) in CAPFs, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
For SI (Fire) in CISF, candidates must have a relevant Science degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or the prescribed 3-year engineering diploma qualification.
Male candidates applying for SI Executive in Delhi Police must possess a valid LMV Driving Licence on the date of PE&MT.
Age Limit
- SI Delhi Police / SI GD CAPFs: 20–25 years
- SI Fire CISF: 18–30 years
- Age relaxation is available for eligible reserved and other categories as per SSC rules.
Experience Important
No separate work experience is required for the general eligibility of these SI posts. However, candidates must satisfy the prescribed educational, physical, medical and other post-specific requirements.
Physical & Medical Requirements
Candidates must qualify the prescribed Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Detailed Medical Examination.
The PET includes events such as running, long jump and high jump, with requirements varying for male and female candidates and applicable categories.
