Goa SSC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Desktop Publishing Operator
Candidates should have Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th) or equivalent qualification along with the prescribed Desktop Publishing training/apprenticeship qualification.
Candidates also need:
- 3 years of experience in printing and publishing
- Practical knowledge of layout, word processing and CorelDRAW
- English typing speed of 40 WPM
- Knowledge of Devnagri software
- Knowledge of Konkani
LDC/Recovery Clerk, Data Entry Operator & Junior Assistant
Candidates should have 12th/HSSC, AICTE-approved Diploma or equivalent qualification as prescribed in the notification.
Additional requirements include:
- Computer course/certificate as prescribed
- English typing speed of 30 WPM
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of Konkani
Candidates with specified Computer Science, Computer Applications, IT, Electronics or related qualifications may receive exemption from the separate computer diploma requirement, subject to notification conditions.
Age Limit
The maximum age is generally 45 years. Relaxation is available for eligible categories as per Goa Government rules.
The maximum age after applicable relaxation can be up to 56 years for eligible candidates.
Goa SSC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
- CBT-I
- CBT-II
- Qualifying Skill/Typing Test
CBT-I is used for shortlisting candidates for CBT-II. Final merit is based on CBT-II marks, while the skill/typing test is qualifying in nature.
There is no negative marking in the CBT as specified in the recruitment notification.
Candidates must also meet the prescribed Konkani language requirement.
