RRC North Western Railway Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 2,008 Posts

North Western Railway (NWR), through Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC Jaipur), has released Notice No. 04/2026 (NWR/AA) for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

A total of 2,008 Apprentice training slots are available across various NWR divisions and workshops, including Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and Jodhpur. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

  • Passed Class 10/Matriculation with at least 50% aggregate marks.
  • A valid National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT or SCVT.
  • The required qualification must be available by the application date.

Age Limit

The candidate should be:

  • Minimum Age: 15 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years

Age relaxation is applicable as per rules:

  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • OBC – 3 years
  • PwBD – 10 years
  • Ex-servicemen – as per prescribed rules

Experience

No previous work experience is required for the Act Apprentice engagement. The essential requirement is the prescribed Class 10 + relevant ITI/NTC qualification.

Stipend & Training

The apprenticeship training and stipend will be governed by the Apprentices Act and applicable Railway Board rules. The notification does not specify a fixed stipend amount.
