Exim Bank BDO Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have:
- Postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Finance.
- MBA in Finance/Marketing is preferred.
- Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in both Graduation and Post-Graduation.
- The Post-Graduation course should normally be of at least 2 years’ full-time duration from a recognized institution.
Experience – Important
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience is mandatory.
Experience should preferably be in a Bank, Financial Institution or Upper Layer NBFC, particularly in corporate credit, corporate loan syndication or marketing of financial products/services.

Exim Bank BDO Salary 2026
Selected Business Development Officers will receive compensation of approximately ₹14.68 lakh per annum, consisting of fixed and variable components in an 80:20 ratio. The contract is initially for 3 years, extendable by another 2 years at the Bank’s discretion.
