Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has released the CSL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification for 210 Technician (Vocational) and ITI Trade Apprentice seats. The apprenticeship is for one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Eligible candidates can apply online from 16 September 2026 to 8 October 2026. The training will be conducted at Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi, Kerala.
EXPERIENCE IMPORTANT: This is an apprenticeship training opportunity, not a regular permanent government job. Previous apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act makes a candidate ineligible. CSL also states that completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee regular employment.

Eligibility Criteria
ITI Trade Apprentices
Candidates should have passed 10th Standard and possess an ITI/NTC qualification in the relevant notified trade.
Technician (Vocational) Apprentices
Candidates should have passed VHSE in the concerned discipline.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old as on 8 October 2026 and must be domiciled in Kerala.
Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for any duration, are not eligible.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit in the prescribed qualification, followed by certificate verification and medical fitness. There is no written examination mentioned for this apprenticeship recruitment.
Selected candidates must complete the apprenticeship contract through the Apprenticeship India portal.
