Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Passed 10th/Matriculation under the 10+2 system with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- Possess an ITI Certificate/NTC in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
- Fulfil the prescribed trade and other eligibility requirements.
Age Limit
The candidate should be at least 15 years old and should not have completed 24 years as on 07 July 2026.
Age relaxation is applicable as per Railway rules:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per applicable rules
Experience
No previous work experience is required for the Act Apprentice engagement. Candidates must meet the prescribed 10th and ITI requirements.
