Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should generally have Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent qualification. Additional requirements depend on the post.
Experience is important for certain posts:
- Civilian Motor Driver: Valid Heavy and Light Motor Vehicle driving licence with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Fire Engine Driver: Valid driving licence and at least 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
- CCI and Cook posts may require/desire relevant trade or catering experience.
Fireman, Fire Engine Driver and Leading Fireman posts also involve prescribed physical and endurance tests.
Age Limit
- Most Posts: 18 to 25 years
- Civilian Motor Driver: 18 to 27 years
- Age relaxation is applicable to eligible SC/ST/OBC, PwD, Ex-servicemen and other categories as per Government rules.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive pay according to the 7th CPC Pay Matrix:
- Level 1: ₹18,000 + DA & applicable allowances
- Level 2: ₹19,900 + DA & applicable allowances
- Level 3: ₹21,700 + DA & applicable allowances
